Name: Sandra J. Wiik Date: March 11th, 2010 Obituary: Sandra J. Wiik, 71 of Pontiac, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was born to Sidney and Beatrice Hulme on October 11, 1938 in Highland Park, MI and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1956. In her youth, Sandra participated in scouting and, as an adult, she was an active scouting volunteer. She had worked at the Pontiac Silverdome and the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also enjoyed crafts, miniatures, and “antiquing.” Sandra is survived by her five children, Melissa (Sabas) Acosta and Theodore (Joyce) Gillespie, both of Pontiac, David (Sherri) Labenne of Standish, Richard (Amy) Wiik of Fort Gratiot, and Julia (Phillip) Baumgras of Clarkston; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and her brother, Dennis (Brenda) Hulme of Wayland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Wiik. A memorial luncheon in Sandra's memory will take place on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Clarkston Eagles Club, 5460 Maybee, Clarkston, MI 48346.
