Obituary

Betty Lou Sullivan

75, of Kimball Township, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 19 2020, in her home.

She was born in Port Huron, Michigan on December 18, 1944, daughter of the late Russell and Beatrice (Arnold) Koebke.

Betty married Gerald Sullivan on October 4, 1969 in Goodells. He passed away on March 31, 2001.

Betty liked bowling, traveling up north, visiting different states, and she loved shopping at Walmart. She most importantly loved spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by her children, Gerald (Lynn Goodman) Sullivan of Kimball Township and Karen (Mike) Basnaw of Port Huron; grandchildren, Alan Rapson, Tyler Basnaw, Dominick Basnaw, and Elana Basnaw; siblings, Arnold (Deanna) Koebke, Mary Paape, and Jim Koebke; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home-Hancock Street. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 24, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Interment and graveside services will follow at Lambs Cemetery in Wales Township.

Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family."
