76, of Fort Gratiot, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Regency on the Lake in Fort Gratiot after a long illness.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 15, 1944, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Converse) Kovatch.

Diana was a 55 year member of The Order of Eastern Star. She attended the Hungarian Presbyterian Church of Allen Park and worked at Dun & Bradstreet for many years as a data entry manager. She loved cooking for large groups, baking hundreds of Christmas cookies, and adored animals and children. Diana enjoyed watching basketball and baseball games as well as local school sports.

She is survived by her son Joseph Lee (Marsha) of Port Huron; step-grandchildren, Paul Toth and Lisa (Greg) Wilson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph A. Kovatch and her sister, Joann Richardson.

Memorials are suggested to “Wishes of the Family”.

A 10-person limited visitation will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home-Hancock Street. Inurnment and graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were provided by Smith Family Funeral Home of Port Huron.
