Aunt Kathern was my VBS leader and taught me to sing a song I will never forget, “I Am A Promise”.She was also my sewing 4-H leader for 2 years. She was faithful and knew how to put her hand-to-the-plow in all she decided to do. She was the defining picture of a farmers wife and will be missed here!

My deepest sympathies to the family. Mrs McNaughton was my 4H leader when I was a child living up in MI. She taught me how to sew. I remember siting down at her sewing machine for my afternoon sewing lesson and her telling me that the space shuttle had exploded earlier in the day. That was in the 80's. I will be coming to Michigan next month for the 1st time in 20 years and was planning to try and see her. May she rest in peace.

My prayers and condolences to Kathern's family. Kathern was a kind, caring lady, a wise Sunday school teacher from my teenage years and my very patient 4H leader. A life very well-lived.
