Obituary

Sharon Reine Wagar

61, of Burtchville Township, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019, at Marlette Regional Hospital Hospice Center.

She was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on November 12, 1958, the daughter of Walter and Sandra Skonieczny.

Sharon married James Wagar on July 30, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sharon was employed by Britt Manufacturing for over 10 years as a press operator. She liked bowling and watching Hallmark movies.

Surviving in addition to James her husband of 20 years are her two sons, Joel (Marisa) Olszewski of Rochester and Matthew Olszewski of Tennessee; her mother and father, Walter and Sandra Skonieczny; two-step sons, James Robert Jr. Wagar of Iowa and Christopher Allan (Angela) Wagar of Port Huron; grandchildren, Landen, Abby, Chris Jr., and Alaina; brother and sisters-in-law, Debbie (Harvey) Cox, David (Jurine) Wagar, Karen (Joseph) Gwisdala, and Janet (Doug) Westbrook; siblings, Larry (Jan) Skonieczny, Gary (Lisa) Skonieczny, Donna Skonieczny, Paul Skonieczny, Paula Jordan Skonieczny, and Sandra (Walter) Skonieczny; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements were provided by Smith Family Funeral Home of Port Huron.

Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family."

She was a strong and kind person and when you talked to her you could tell she was a sweet lady. She will be missed dearly, Rest In Peace Sharon we will always remember and miss you.

Sometimes the quietest person in the room is the strongest person in the room. Sharon was a quiet woman, but after you spoke to her you knew she had a good and kind heart. Rest in Peace Sis.
